FAQ
Are your products gluten-free?

All our ingredients are gluten-free, but we can't officially market our products as gluten free based on the TTB definition (https://www.ttb.gov/rulings/r2020-2). Our liqueurs are made in a facility that contains other products with gluten. Although cross-contamination would be highly unlikely, the faculty doesn't have all the measures in place to 100% prevent traces of gluten from entering our products.
How should I store my liqueurs?

We recommend storing our products at room temperature in a dark place (e.g. liquor cabinet). It is not necessary to store in the refrigerator or freezer -- this can cause crystals to form at the bottom of the bottle.
Oops, I stored my liqueurs in the fridge and crystals formed. What should I do?

Don't worry! Just leave your liqueur out at room temperature for 5-7 days and the crystals should dissolve. This shouldn't have any impact on flavor or quality.
How many net carbs are in your product?

The TTB doesn't allow us to state "net carbs" for any of our products. We encourage you to research the definition of "net carbs" commonly used in the food industry and note that our products are sweetened with sugar alcohols plus a small amount of sugar (1.3g per serving).
Why do you have any sugar in your liqueurs at all?

We use the minimum amount required by the TTB to fit the definition of "liqueur". The TTB defines a "liqueur" as a beverage with at least 2.5% sugar by weight.
Which sugar alcohols are you using?

Our custom blend of natural sweeteners is a trade secret that sets us apart from the rest of the liqueurs in the world. For now, we aren't sharing the specifics.
Why is there sediment at the bottom of my Coffee Liqueur and Espresso Martini?

Our coffee liqueur is made with real arabica coffee, so a small amount of sediment is to be expected.

Is there caffeine in your Coffee Liqueur or Espresso Martini?

Yes, since both are made with real coffee, they both contain caffeine. The caffeine content for Coffee Liqueur is approximately 35mg per 1.5 fl oz and the Espresso Martini is approximately 20mg per 1.5 fl oz. By comparison, a short (8 fl oz) Featured Dark Roast at Starbucks is 130mg total.
It looks like the alcohol/volume on my label is written by hand - is that true?

Yes! Our hand-crafted liqueurs are made in small batches, so the ALC/VOL can vary slightly for batch to batch. We test each batch then write in the actual amount when we bottle it.
